1. Information We Collect

Local data: Lego Bin Tracker stores your bins, tags, imported sets, owned parts, and part-to-bin assignments entirely on your device. We do not have access to this data and it never leaves your device unless you choose to export a backup.

Rebrickable API key: To look up set and part data, you paste your own free API key from Rebrickable. The key is stored locally on your device. We do not receive, store, or transmit your key.

Advertising data: We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve and measure ads. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Bin and part data is stored locally to provide app functionality. We never collect or transmit it.
• When you import a set or look up a part, the app sends the set or part number, along with your Rebrickable API key, directly from your device to Rebrickable's servers to fetch catalog data. We do not see or record these requests.
• AdMob processes advertising data to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance.

3. Data Sharing

We do not collect, store, or sell any personal data. The third parties that receive data when you use the app are:

• Rebrickable (privacy policy): Receives your API key and the set or part numbers you look up. Rebrickable is an independent service not operated by us.
• Google AdMob: Collects device and usage data for ad serving, as described in Google's privacy policy.

4. Data Storage

All app data (bins, tags, sets, parts, assignments, your API key) is stored locally on your device in an SQLite database. We do not operate servers that store user data. If you uninstall the app, your local data is deleted.

5. Backups

The app can export your entire collection to a JSON file and restore from one. Backups are created on your device and shared through your device's standard share sheet — we do not upload or store them anywhere. You control where each backup file goes.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Delete all your data by uninstalling the app or by clearing your Rebrickable API key in Settings.
• Opt out of personalized ads in your device's settings (Settings > Google > Ads on Android).
• Reset your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings.
• Revoke your Rebrickable API key at any time from your Rebrickable account.

7. Children's Privacy

Lego Bin Tracker is intended for adult LEGO® collectors (AFOLs) and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
