By downloading, installing, or using Hookchart ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Hookchart is a free crochet pattern editor with rotatable stitch symbols. Every feature is free to use. The App is supported by advertising.

3. Advertising

The App displays ads via Google AdMob. A rewarded ad may be shown before exporting patterns as PNG or PDF.

4. User Content

Patterns and projects you create in the App remain yours. They are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to any server by the App.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent the advertising mechanism

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the App (code, design, icons, symbol artwork, text) is owned by the developer and protected by copyright. Crochet stitch symbols follow widely-used conventions but the specific artwork in this App is original.

7. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any losses arising from use of the App, including but not limited to lost patterns or projects. Back up your work regularly using the export features.

8. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
